New Podcast: Caroline Williams Yoga

I’m excited for you to listen to this podcast and meet Caroline!

Caroline Williams has a You Tube Channel, Caroline Williams Yoga and she is active on instagram @carolinewyoga and Facebook @CarolineWilliamsYoga. She also has a blog, https://www.carolinewilliamsyoga.comMany of you already follow her I’m sure!

She recently ran a Kickstarter campaign and surpassed her fund raising goal! She will be filming videos for a series called “Foundations in Yoga: A Jesus Centered Approach”,  that will be released in September of this year.  We can’t wait!

Caroline and her husband have been living in New York City!  I love this and I told her it feels really glamorous and special to me to live in NYC. She told me all their stuff is actually all packed up in storage as they are planning a trip.  She took time to chat with me before she and her husband head to Europe and travel around for months, exploring and living out a lifelong dream.

Caroline and I talk about a lot of things, including our husbands, faith, yoga, Jesus, making dreams come true, staying the course when things don’t turn out the way you planned, and trusting God. We ponder the question, “Can Christians do yoga?” I think you can guess our answer to that question!

I love talking to people about the things God is calling them into in their lives.  I also really love learning about how they bring their dreams to life.  What does the day to day look like? How did they start? What if they get discouraged? We touch on all of that in this podcast. Like all good conversations, we laugh a little, I cry a little (no surprise) and I say YES! a lot! (Again, no surprise)

Enjoy! And then head over to You Tube and practice some yoga with Caroline!

New Podcast! Katie Zamot of @themommytribe

I’m excited to introduce you to Katie Zamot.  You may know her from instagram – she is the founder of The Mommy Tribe.  (The Mommy Tribe on Instagram @themommytribe )

She also has a website themommytribe.com

Katie felt the Lord calling her to start an instagram account to encourage and equip moms.  She has built a community based on authenticity and vulnerability.  Her goal is to help other women love their husbands well, shepherd their children well, and love Jesus more. I can get on board with all of that!! I love her heart for other women and her willingness to take bold steps and follow the Lord’s lead.

Katie is married, she is the mother of two and will be adopting another child soon. She continues to say YES! and even though she’s not sure where it’s all leading or what The Mommy Tribe will look like tomorrow, she is sure that when she is in God’s will, she can trust Him with the outcome.

Listen in for inspiration and encouragement! You will love Katie!

Podcast 30: Jane Reed Henson

I’m so excited to introduce you to my friend Jane!

Jane Reed Henson is an artist, author and photographer who loves life and really loves Jesus. She delights in sharing her journey of spiritual healing through different aspects of art and writing. Her concept that living painterly, embracing the brushstrokes of life, allows for a freedom like no other has truly given her the strength to live life fully while following God’s great design for her life. She is the creator of the “Painterly Living Workshops”.

Jane is also a foster adoptive mom who advocates for the unconditional love foster children are so deeply in need of. In her latest book, Beyond Expectations, Jane shows the value and the ability we all have within ourselves to love and transform the lives of others through letting go of our expectations of them and seeing them through God’s eyes.

Jane has authored Women of God Live Redeemed, Living Blessed and her cookbook, Simple Quinoa. Her first release “Blessed With MS” is currently in a review and editing process as she rewrites this memoir from a new perspective. Jane is also penning a new book, The Art of Painterly Living, full of soulful spiritual healing though the use of art to be released soon! She spends her days following whatever calling God places in front of her. Some days she paints, others she writes and some she looks through the lens of her camera and captures whatever God places in her day.

She considers herself a free spirit of sorts. She freely follows the guidance of the Holy Spirit and fully embraces wherever she is led.

Her website is: https://www.janereedhenson.com

She is amazing and you will love her! Enjoy!

All great paintings require restoration over time. Some of the greatest earthly paintings of all time have had restoration work done. Even the Sistine Chapel underwent a cleaning and restoration in order to get centuries of dust and candle soot off its walls and ceiling. As a newborn we are a blank canvas. Through the years we are covered with our own dust and soot. These come in the form of hurts, losses, let downs and broken relationships. At times we can be covered so deeply in suffering that the dust is caked on and it is hard to restore us to the glory we are meant to be. Just as a restoration artist has to recognize and know the design of the original artist in order to restore, we cannot be restored until we accept and recognize God’s design for us.
