Today I’m grateful the Bears beat the Packers.
Mostly because it makes my husband and son happy.
Also, because I love the story of the back up quarterback for the Bears, Josh McCown. Who is never really sure if and when he will play but works hard to prepare. “I have to write a lot of things down,” he said. “I have to practice the calls over and over again, draw the plays up. There’s a lot for me. But I feel like if I put that time in, I feel like that kind of preparation creates an edge for me and helps me.”
How great is that? “I have to write things down and practice and put time in and prepare”. In a world full of people who think they are owed something for doing nothing, this is refreshing. He was prepared and he had the opportunity and BAM! Bears Win!
In an article by Rich Campbell in the Chicago Tribune, McCown was quoted as saying, “I hate the circumstances (that Cutler is hurt), but it’s my opportunity to serve my team,” McCown said “I’m very thankful to have this chance.”
He’s very thankful to have this chance.
We are thankful too.

AHHH Da Bears, the 85 Bears!
I am grateful for the 85 Bears because of the unforgetable memories made with friends and family watching each and every game that season. Then the Super Bowl, need I say more?
I agree with your son and husband, that was fantastic.
