New podcast just in time for Thanksgiving! If you are like me, you’ve got PIES on your mind. š Also, turkey and stuffing but mostly PIES! My favorite is Pecan. What about you?
This week’s podcast is a fun conversation with Tara Royer Steele (@tararoyersteele on instagram) She owns Royer’s Pie Haven in Round Top, Texas. If you’ve been to Round Top, you’ve seen her place and probably eaten some of the delicious pie they make and serve with a smile!
Tara also has some land out here in Texas where she hosts soul restoration retreats and workshops and camps. She tells us all about it on the podcast. So awesome!!

It’s that time of year! Maybe you are feeling like this picture below.
There’s a lot coming at us from the world, especially this time of year. One of the ideas I posted on social media last week is this – take some time each morning to right down everything that’s in your brain, first thing, sit down with coffee and pen and paper and practice BRAIN DUMPING. Clear space in your brain before you consume anything. Before phone, social media, news, text, podcast, anything. MAKE ROOM. No pressure to do anything with any of it but GET IT OUT OF YOUR BRAIN. Set a timer for 10 minutes and BRAIN DUMP. Dump it all, the good, the bad, the ugly, the confusing, the worries. Do not pick up your phone until you do this. Let me know how it goes. I started today and when I looked at it, I was confused. It made no sense. That’s okay. We don’t have to explain it. Just release it. You’ve got this!
I’m praying y’all have a blessed Thanksgiving!! Enjoy this time before the December rush hits. Take some time to exhale and practice gratitude. You’re doing great!
