We all have had people in our lives who have taught us. Let’s focus on the ones who have given us solid advice. Let’s remember people who always cared for us and shared their wisdom with us. What did they teach us? What sustains us in our time of need? Where do we go when we feel unsure or afraid?
This year, 2020, has been nuts! It has been unpredictable and frustrating and a little scary (or a lot!). I have found myself relying more and more on the Word of God. I also keep going back to my parents and the way I was raised, the things they taught me like kindness, curiosity, compassion, faith, loyalty. I’m so grateful.
On this episode of the podcast, we explore that. I prompt you to ask yourself questions.
Who taught you? What did you learn?
What do you know for sure that you can share with others? Who is in your life right now and could use some wisdom and solid advice from you? Or maybe you can be a good listener, knowing what it has meant for you to be listened to and not judged.
We all have the capacity to help others, to offer hope, to have an impact. We all know people who are struggling.
Who is one person you can bless today?
