Power Source

We have been without power for only 24 hours and it was surprisingly disruptive.

I woke up this morning and the lights were on. In fact, we were lit up like a Christmas tree because I had hit all the switches yesterday. 😆

It was a good reminder of all of our blessings. All of the conveniences. The ABUNDANCE that is ours.

We take for granted electricity, heat, hot water, a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. Not to mention internet, cell service, TV.

And we take for granted the ability to hop in our car and go WHEREVER WE WANT. And the yoga studio and gym being open and groceries on the shelves and a charged phone to listen to podcasts.

Have you looked around lately? Have you SEEN the Lord’s blessing in your life? Have you called it out, named it, claimed it and raised your hands or fallen to your knees in gratitude?

Open your eyes today. Open your ears. His blessings are everywhere.

Sometimes we have to get uncomfortable to see. To see all we have been given and to see where we might be missing the point.

What are you putting your hope and faith and trust in? Can you sit in stillness in the dark? Are you itching to get out of your skin once the distractions are taken away? Are your comforts in the way of your conversion?

Pray for eyes to see and ears to hear. Pray to the ONE who turns on all the lights. The actual power that never dies comes from Him. Make sure you plug in to the Source. ☀️
