What Have We Learned? 20 + Years of Parenting and Friendship!

Hey there! Okay, I know many of you are feeling overwhelmed by parenting and marriage and trying to keep it all together! While I talk to you about your new endeavors and your passion projects and businesses, you also want to talk about your kids. Of course! You want to process the things they are going through. You want to know how to help them! I recorded a podcast about how to be a “No Drama Mama” and y’all loved that one. It offers practical tools that will help you minimize drama and encourage better decision making! If you haven’t listened to it yet, here it is.

I just posted a new podcast and this time I’m chatting with a group of my friends that I’ve known for over 20 years! Listen in and hear us as we talk about parenting and friendship. I’m so grateful they were up for this! I’m sure it’s not always easy to say YES to my reindeer games. Next on the agenda is getting everyone to take the enneagram. 🙂 I think over the last 20 years, there has probably been some head scratching and wondering, “Oh boy, what is Sue up to this time???”

I believe we are all called to meaningful work. You are invited to say “YES!” to purpose in your life. When I talk about and write about “meaningful work”, it doesn’t always mean starting a business or a running a ministry. Maybe your meaningful work in this season is to raise a family. Raising kids with intention is meaningful and it is work. It’s not easy. But it’s worth it. You are literally shaping the future. Thank you.

If you have adult children and they are struggling with identity and questioning their worthiness, I’ve created a tool you can share with them. Download 10 Things God Says About You, here. It’s a PDF you can share with your kids that will encourage them to look up Scripture and understand and own their identity as beloved children of God. (It’s great for parents too!)
